hello all! in taipei now. staying in a place that i actually don't know what to classify it as. it's the size of a hotel room, with gym, swimming pool, jacoozee, steam bath, sona and all downstairs, but it has most things i need e.g. washing machine, microwave, frij, even toaster also got! so i can say it's like a hostel/studio apartment also. most important of all is, there is free internet access! to get to my floor, i will have to scan a card 3 times, once at the main door and once each in the 2 lifts that i'll have to take to get to 11th floor. super tight security right!

weather is super cooling now. shiok!

just started on my album promo yesterday. hope this time will get more oppotunity to go on more tv stuffs with some support by xiao huang qi whom i finally got to meet for dinner 2 days ago. haha many of my taiwan colleagues commented that i'm very much like him leh, other then our talking speed, the topics we use to create jokes, things we enjoy doing, even the types of voices that we like also same same 1 lor haha!

wow just realised it's already 1.13 am liao. tomorrow will be free free. will most likely go try out the gym downstairs tomorrow morning. never bring my trunks along this time so maybe cannot go swim liao. or maybe i should go get an extra pair of trunks la since the 1 i have in singapore kind of old and lose liao.

for those who have tried out mafia wars on face book, 140mafia, which is linked to twitter is pretty much the same. of course if talking in terms of the accessibility for blind ppl like me, 140mafia win mafia wars hands down la haha.

anyway, i'll be leaving for taiwn in a few days time le. my album has already ben released on 31st 2009 which was yesterday! all the best to me there! follow me on twitter to get updates from me when i'm there k! face book can of course, but i'll have to retrieve comments left by u guys via only email, and it's kind of more inconvenient for me to reply through face book as compared to twitter.

morning all! friday evening will be having zou chang sessions at jurong east and chinatown. haven't been singing for quite a while liao looks like have to do some warming up tomorrow liao hahaha!

this 2 weeks has been business as usual at dialogue in the dark, bringing students, lecturers, and also some families with children in to total darkness for an hour at a time. everyone have different reactions when in total darkness. some almost just became much quieter as compared to how they were like when in the light outside, some find darkness fun, a few cried, and there was 1 visitor whom felt giddy almost towards the end of the tour and i got to escort her out first. but i would say most visitors after going through the tour would have a different perseption to blind ppl and darkness in general, especially after they have their chat session at the end of the tour with with their guide. many ppl actually have many questions or curiousities about blind ppl de, but most don't dare ask even when given the chance to because they are afraid their questions might sound offence or intrusive to a blind person. how i always douse this fear in them is by saying:
"i'm really hard to offend. if u really can offend me with any of your questions, i will remember u forever. but the thing is i won't know who u are also right? i can't catch u anyway if u were to run!"
this will usually set them off laughing and tt's when the ice will usually be broken and i usually will enjoy answering their questions after that le.

here is Wei Lian’s busking details for this coming Friday 11th December. Venue one is at nearby Jurong East MRT Station at 6pm. Venue two is at Chinatown (outside OG area) at 7.15pm.

the gai ban version of my zou chang chen wei lian will be out today. it comes with an additional song, which is the dang wo men tong zai yi qi theme song. this drama will start airing on 30th november if i'm not wrong. this gai ban version also comes with 4 mvs also. do support support k!

yesterday got 1 group of visitors sang for me in dialogue in the dark leh! they really v cute la. a few of them thought i sounded familiar, and some others thought cannot be la my english where got so good, they actually spent minutes arguing amongst themselveswhether i'm reall or not leh! then when i finally told them the answer, as expected la they ask me sing for them. in reply i asked them to sing for me instead, and without any hesitation a few of them started singing da hai leh! but they got stuck half way le so i told them change song change song and they sang an english song which i think the title is it's all because of u, or something like that. some of my other colleagues passed by and stood to listened and our applause after e group of student visitors finished singing was really from our hearts de. and throughout this occurance, they actually didn't get to see me at all though i was like less than 0.5 metres distance from them they only get to hear my voice! the world of communication without any visual distractions is really a world i'm most comfortable in. no need smile, no need worry how ppl look at me, just let the expressions and feelings in my voice convey everything.
